Stoneshard: How To Reduce Fatigue

Fatigue is a new mechanism that you cannot ignore! Get an insight into what Fatigue is and How to Reduce it in Stoneshard!

Fighting enemies, taking on quests, hunting animals, and long journeys! All of these are bound to tire your character. The developers at Stoneshard have added another mechanic to the game called ‘Fatigue’. Before the update, the only use of the ‘Sleep’ feature was to save the game. The Fatigue mechanic added a whole other layer to resting. So without further ado, let’s get an idea about fatigue and how to reduce it in Stoneshard.

Stoneshard Fatigue: How to Reduce it?

Before the update, your character could stay awake for prolonged periods of time. The Fatigue mechanism completely changes how you manage your character.

Here are some of the ways you can reduce fatigue:

  • Sleeping
  • Stimulants
  • Exquisite Foods
  • Rest Mode

The simplest way to get rid of Fatigue is Sleeping. Along with saving the game, sleep will play an important function in your gameplay. After completing a long quest or after hunting, your character should sleep to replenish Health, Energy, and Reduce Fatigue.

If you are away from the town then you will have to rely on stimulants to decrease Fatigue. Stimulants like Al’qud and Nikkaf have a significant effect on Fatigue. Although you will have to be careful while using them as they have their own side effects.
Al’qud has a chance to cause Daze and Confusion. While using Nikkaf will have effects like decreased Morale and an increased Fumble Chance.

Exquisite Foods

You can buy exquisite foods at Brynn Taverns or a grocery shop. They can either alleviate or decrease your Fatigue levels.
Elven Mud is one of the consumables that you can use to reduce Fatigue Gain.

Rest Mode

If you are on a quest away from town and you have depleted your resources, rest mode is the best way to reduce Fatigue. It’ll also replenish your Health and Energy so you can progress further.

How Does Fatigue Work in Stoneshard?

Fatigue Mechanics are similar to Health Mechanics. Fatigue Gain can happen due to the following reasons:

  • Traveling
  • Attacking
  • Blocking and Dodging
  • Using Spells and Skills

Max Energy has a huge influence on the Fatigue of your character. If their Max Energy level is high then they won’t be worn out easily.
You should be aware of your character’s Fatigue levels. Letting it reach 25%, 50%, and 75%, will have dire effects on your character’s Fumble Chance, Energy restoration, and Cooldowns Duration.
Another stat affected by Fatigue is the Max Energy Threshold. Similar to the Max Health Threshold, it restricts the amount of energy that can be restored. Although you can exceed it with certain consumables, abilities, and effects.

As long as you are aware of your character’s Fatigue Level, it won’t hamper your gameplay. With the right planning and use of resources, you can keep it under 25%.
