How to Change Camera Angle in Hogwarts Legacy?
Don’t like the default camera angle and wish to adjust the settings? Here’s what you need to know.
In Hogwarts Legacy, you will be playing as a young witch or wizard who’s out to learn more about the magical world created by the books. But soon after you start, you will realize that the camera angle can be pretty restrictive, which brings us to the question – can you change the camera angle in Hogwarts Legacy, just like you could do in GTA 5?
How to Change Camera Angle in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, there is no way to directly change the camera angle in Hogwarts Legacy on any platform (PC, PlayStation, Xbox). The game currently offers a fixed over-the-shoulder perspective that automatically adjusts slightly based on your character’s movements.
While there isn’t a built-in option, there are some workarounds to consider:
Use a PC Mod (Unofficial Method):
If you’re playing on PC, the “First Person AND Customizable Cameras (With UI)” mod will help you change the camera angle. However, it’s important to note that – It is not officially supported by the developers and may have compatibility issues or bugs. Using mods can potentially violate the game’s terms of service, so proceed with caution and at your own risk.
Alternative Viewing Options:
- Photo Mode: While not a true camera angle change, Photo Mode allows you to freely position the camera within certain boundaries, capturing unique shots from different angles.
- Experiment with the existing camera controls: You can adjust the field of view in the game’s Settings under Display Options. Increasing the field of view can provide a slightly wider perspective.
- Use the lock-on targeting: This will temporarily shift the camera focus towards an enemy, offering a different viewing angle during combat.
