How to Fix Lag and Stuttering in Soulmask
Here are some potential solutions that can prevent Soulmask from stuttering and lagging.
Check System Requirements
Make sure your computer meets the minimum and ideally the recommended system requirements for Soulmask (mentioned below). If you’ve installed the game on an HDD, you will face lag, so it’s preferred to install it on a good SSD for the best possible performance.

Update Drivers
Another thing to do if you’re facing lag and stutters in Soulmask is to update your graphics card drivers to the latest version. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause performance issues, so download the latest drivers from the website of your graphics card manufacturer (AMD, Nvidia, or Intel) and check again.
Close Background Applications
Close any unnecessary programs (including browser tabs, and streams) running in the background while you play Soulmask because these programs can hog system resources and contribute to significant lag.
Adjust Graphics Settings
Lowering in-game graphics settings like resolution, textures, and anti-aliasing can improve performance, especially on lower-end systems. Experiment with different settings to find a balance between visuals and performance. Make sure to play the game in fullscreen mode to ensure that all the crucial resources of your PC are dedicated to the game.
Change the settings of V-Sync, Frame Rate Limit, and NVIDIA DLSS as per your requirement. Adjust each setting and check the difference it makes to find the combination of settings that suit you best.
Verify Internet Connection
Ensure you have a stable internet connection because a weak or fluctuating connection can cause lag, especially when you’re playing online. If possible, connect your computer to the router using an ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi. Wired connections generally provide a more stable and reliable connection.
Check for Server Issues
Check the game’s official social media pages for any announcements about server issues which may be the reason why you’re facing lag or getting kicked from the server.
Disable Overclocking
If you’ve overclocked your CPU or GPU, try temporarily disabling it to see if it resolves the stuttering issue because overclocking can sometimes lead to instability in games.
This was everything you can do to fix stuttering and lag in Soulmask. With one or more of these changes, the game will run smoothly compared to before and you will be able to enjoy the experience without interruptions.
