Ever loaded up Discord, chatted with friends, interacted in a community server, only to be kicked from your account out of nowhere? Discord can log you out for several reasons and if you’re facing frequent interruptions like this, here are the common factors and their solutions.
Why does Discord keep logging out?
Discord could log you out if you’ve been inactive for a very long period. Login sessions basically have an expiration time for security purposes and you might need to log in again if you were away from Discord for many days or months. However, if this is happening too often, follow the steps below.
Discord Could Be Down
Occasionally, Discord server outages might cause login issues and kick you out of your account multiple times in a day. Check Discord’s official status page to see if there are any reported outages and wait until the issues.
Conflicting Browser Extensions
Certain browser extensions might conflict with Discord’s web app, causing login issues. Due to this, Discord will keep logging you out.
