Elden Ring: How to Get to Top Right in Shadow Of The Erdtree

In this guide, we will explain how to get to the top right area of the Elden Ring map, which is the secret Scaduview region in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The way to access it is through Shadow Keep which is at the northern section, after which you can go to Hinterland and further ahead. Follow the steps in this article to know exactly how to get started.

How to Get to the Top Right in Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree

• There’s a secret passage which opens up access to Hinterland and it can only be unlocked with the O Mother gesture. Make sure to check out our related guide to know where to find this emote.
• Once you have it, head to the Site of Grace of Shadow Keep, Back Gate.
• On the right, there is a door that you need to enter and you’ll see a huge headless statue.
• Do the O Mother gesture here and the statue will slide to display the new area called Scaduview.
• Rest at the Site of Grace that’s nearby and now you’re ready to explore the top right area in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

How to Get to Shadow Keep, Back Gate

Since this requires you to unlock the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace, here’s how to get to it:

• From the location where you got your O Mother gesture, face east and cross the bridge. Ride along the road as shown here.

• Keep going until you reach a tunnel.

• Go through the tunnel and activate the Site of Grace you see.
• From this point, you will see multiple rooftops that you must walk over (be wary of fiery enemies along the way) and drop down to this section and further down to the bottom floor.

• Keep going and turn left till you see a path over water.

Cross this path over water

• This should end in a lift. Go upward and you will reach Specimen Storehouse. You will soon see the Storehouse, Back Section site of grace here that you can rest at.

• Near the site, there will be a ladder – climb up, turn right, and take the stairs. Go right again and you should see some stone bookcases on the left.
• There will be a hole in the wall on the right.

• Walk outside and go up the wooden stairs. In a room, you will see a Site of Grace to discover. This is the Storehouse, Loft location.

• From here, take the lift to go up.

• Find a ladder in this area and go up.

• Keep going until you find a ladder to go down.

• Then jump down in the north-western direction and exit the room.

• Take the lift on the right.

• Keep going ahead and there’s another lift you can take.

• Finally, when you’re out of the lift, you will see the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace.
