• Be at least 18 years of age.
• You cannot already be an IKEA employee.
• You must be living in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland.
• Unfortunately, this option is not available to Roblox users in the US, but if you live in the UK or ROI, you can apply via the official application website for The Co-Worker Game.
• Answer the questions asked on the site. These questions are pretty goofy, like:
  • “How do you feel about being turned into pixels?”
  • “If you were a pixelated IKEA furniture, which one would you be and why?”
  • “What would you do if we ran out of pixelated hot dogs in our bistro?”

Add some witty, funny and genuine answers to these questions because it’s not all fun and games. Then fill in your personal details like your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, Facebook link, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter handles. You can also add how you heard about this job.

If you’ve been shortlisted for the interview, you will get a response between June 14 to June 18. They are looking to hire 10 real people to work as a staff in the game, wherein they can answer questions, help with furniture selection and even serve you virtual meatballs from the BIstro that IKEA is known for.

The virtual store opens on 24th June and is designed to introduce users to the breadth of roles and career progression routes available at IKEA through a series of games inspired by real-life jobs at the Swedish retailer. The recruitment process includes a questionnaire and will require an updated CV – videos can also be submitted, and if successful, applicants will be invited to a digital interview. Candidates need to be over 18 and live in the UK or Ireland.”

How much will the Roblox IKEA job employee be paid?

Successful applicants will be paid £13.15 / €14.80 per hour, the IKEA hourly rate of pay for a London co-worker. As a Living Wage Foundation employer, our rate of pay is aligned with the foundation’s real living wage. It’s a limited contract and is fully remote and flexible.
