These Assassin’s Creed & Resident Evil Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass users get access to some awesome titles every month, and this time two popular games get added to the list. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Resident Evil 2 are coming to the platform in January 2024. This was revealed by the Community Lead via a blog post, shared on January 3, 2024.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 9, 2024
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a 2020 action role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, the twelfth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. You play as Eivor Varinsdottir/Varinsson, a Viking raider leading their fellow Vikings against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms in 9th century England.
The game includes intense combat where you can wield axes, swords, and shields to prove yourself as a true Viking fighter. You can raid settlements, and make your own all while unraveling the mysteries of Norse mythology and the ancient Assassins.
Resident Evil 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 16, 2024
Resident Evil 2 gives this survival horror classic a modern revamp. As the official description states, this genre-defining masterpiece has been “completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience.” It brings immersive audio, a new over-the-shoulder camera, and modernized controls on top of gameplay modes from the original game. This makes it perfect for the OG fans to re-experience it while also appealing to new players trying it out for the first time.
