Another day of LinkedIn profiles accidentally leaking upcoming games – this time it’s about Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands 2. As noticed by Eurogamer, a former employee of Lost Boys Interactive has updated their LinkedIn profile with their work on these games but the post now stands deleted. Lost Boys Interactive is a partner of Gearbox Software as well as Blizzard, 2K, Amazon Games, and more.

Apart from these two games, an upcoming Brothers in Arms game was also mentioned in the post.

Developers/publishers are understandably super secretive about their announcements and more often than not, employees or former employees who update their profile end up revealing upcoming projects. In this case, the Studio Technical Director worked on a contract with the developers from May 2022 – July 2022 and worked on supervising 66 employees remotely.

The Technical Director has also mentioned the UE4 (Unreal Engine 4) platform in the profile for these upcoming games. Not much else has been mentioned in the post that you can check out over on Eurogamer. Since the work was done back in 2022, it’s tough to determine at what stage the game is actually at right now.

Borderlands 3 was released on September 13, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One, and released for macOS on 30 October 2019. Meanwhile, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on March 25, 2022. While the former has received very positive reviews on Steam, the latter has mostly positive overall reviews and mixed recent reviews.

The last Brothers in Arms game, Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War, was released in 2014 for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. The next game in the pipeline, Furious 4, was canceled in July 2015.

Next came Brothers in Arms: Win the War Pinball in April 2023 which is a virtual pinball adaptation based on the game series.

Lastly, Gearbox’s CEO Randy Pitchford mentioned about a new Brothers in Arms game back in September 2021 but hasn’t revealed much yet and won’t do so, until they are very close to completion.

If there are any more updates, leaks, or rumors about these Gearbox games, we will keep you posted. In other news, Bungie’s Destiny 2 sees a record low player count since its release – check out more info in this linked article.
