Two Dark Souls Inspired Games Are Now On Game Pass
A best-selling game and its triumphant sequel make its way to Gamepass.
Xbox Game Pass has had some stellar titles in its library since launch, and now two more amazing games from Gunfire Games have been added to the list. Remnant: From the Ashes and Remnant II – Standard Edition are included with Gamepass (for both Xbox and PC). This was a surprise because there were no prior announcements, and no hype generated for this reveal whatsoever. Still, it’s a welcome surprise because Remnant has been called the best co-op game in years.

Many compare it with Dark Souls, but it has a lot of elements mixed from various games like Fallout, Dead Space, Gears of War, and different genres. Its difficulty level is high but the challenge is what gives it its edge. The first game received a score of 78 on Metacritic and a user score of 6.8.
Remnant II also ended up continuing the success streak with a Metascore of 80 and a user score of 6.9. With reviews calling it creative, compelling, addictive, and exciting, this sequel takes things up a notch and should not be missed, especially if you love Soulslike games and looter-shooters.
Remnant 2 has 3 DLCs planned, one of which has already been released (called The Awakened King) on November 14 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and is priced at $9.99.
