She’s made an appearance in various videos, brand photo shoots, etc. and was the cover model for Maxim Korea for its August 2018 issue.

Developers at Shift Up, the studio behind Stellar Blade, used 3D scans of her physique to create Eve’s body in the game. While the character’s face was created in-house, Eve’s overall body and figure were based on Shin Jae-eun’s real-life proportions.

In the game, you can customize Eve’s appearance in-game in various ways, like finding and equipping new outfits, changing her hairstyle, hair color, glasses, and much more, but the overall build remains the same.

Eve received a mixed response when she was revealed, with some saying that she could become as iconic as Bayonetta while some criticized her calling her a boring and plain character.

If you’ve played the game, what do you think? Is the character design good for Eve or is it created in the context of the ‘male gaze’?
