Walmart Slashes Modern Warfare 3 Price
Get MW3 for a discounted price before the offer expires.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 was released on November 10, 2023, but right on time for Black Friday deals because Walmart is already giving gamers a $10 discount in the same month of its release!
Modern Warfare 3 costs $69.99 usually, but Walmart is offering it for $60 for PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players (while supplies last). The discount isn’t much, like the -50% price cut for this EA title, but it’s something.
The game did not really hit the mark for players with a user score of 1.8 showing ‘Overwhelming Dislike’ and a Metascore of 56 based on 64 Critic Reviews. Player comments on Metacritic are calling the game a huge disappointment, DLC full-price, zero creativity story, and a letdown after the recent games. It also received ‘Mostly Negative’ reviews on Steam.
However, that doesn’t mean players are abandoning the franchise.
The Twitter account of @CallofDuty posted on November 21, 2023, that “MW3 had more hours per player overall than MW 2019 and MWII. Also, MWZ is the most engaging third mode in MW history and campaign players are putting in more time per player in MW3 than in the previous two installments.”

Sledgehammer games also thanked players for setting new Modern Warfare engagement records.
