How to Make Poison Arrows in Soulmask
If you want to take your ranged damage to the next level, you need to know how to make poison arrows in Soulmask. Poisoned arrows will inflict continuous bleeding and Stamina loss on your targets which can come in handy, especially for humanoid enemies. While the basic steps of first crafting venom and then applying the poison to them is obvious, there’s one extra step that you have to do in between.
How to Make Poison Arrows in Soulmask
Step 1: Craft Venom
The materials you need to make Venom are 2 Poisonous Bugs and 2 Fireflies. You can craft it in a Grinder. Here’s how to get Fireflies which takes a stealthy approach. After that, you can get Poisonous Bugs by harvesting wild plants.
You can also obtain venom from Centipedes, Scorpions, Spiders and Arrow-Poison Frogs.
In case you don’t have a Grinder yet, you can build it with 10 Stones and 5 Planks via manual crafting.
Step 2: Craft Purified Poison
With x1 Venom you can craft Purified Venom via manual crafting. The optional ingredients are Carrion, Poisonous Mushroom x1.
You can get Carrion if you have some spoiled food because it’s essentially decayed meat; Poisonous Mushrooms are plants that you can find while exploring.
Step 3. Apply Poison to Arrows
Make sure you have regular arrows (not Big Arrows) as they can’t be poisoned. Drag and drop the purified poison onto the arrows in your inventory. This will apply the poison effect.
If you don’t have a Wooden Arrow yet, the materials you need are x1 Branch and the additional materials are x1 Log and x1 Hardwood. Branches can be found by chopping trees and they should be pretty easy to collect.
